Overview
- The Arkham Asylum is a level 30 Secret Base as part of the finale of the Punchline Story Arc. It can only be accessed following the completion of the S.T.A.R. Labs Space Station location by Villain characters.
- This dungeon is a level 30 instance for tech-power villain players who have Joker as their mentor.
In-Game History
- When Brainiac created and released a robotic replication of Joker onboard a captured STAR Labs Satellite, the robot's programing dictated that it hunt down and kill the original. Quickly locating the Joker and activating a teleporter, it teleported to this location in Arkham Asylum where the Joker was recovering from a toxin attack and trapped him in a stasis shield in order to continue copying the original's remaining persona before killing him.
- The robot, however, was followed by a new villain, who was working under the Joker to track down T.O. Morrow. Using the location's security systems, the villain managed to defeat the robotic copy and free the original Joker from imprisonment, earning his trust as a full member of the Secret Society of Super-Villains.

Trivia
- This location is only available to villain characters. Following the completion of the S.T.A.R. Labs Space Station, hero characters are instead transported to an Undisclosed Location where they defend the Batman from his robotic double.
- The instance can be revisited while traveling through the Arkham Asylum (Alert).
