Overview
- A Book of the Black is an ancient tome inscribed in the blood of a corrupted Guardian in preparation for the prophesied doom of the Guardians of the Universe known as the Blackest Night.
- One of the seven "Books of Light", the Book of the Black contains written histories and prophecies involving the Blackest Night and the Black Lantern Corps as well as other secrets that the Guardians of the Universe do not wish to be known.
