Overview
- The Brainiac Power Battery is a Power Battery constructed by Brainiac's Forces in a bid of Brainiac's to access the powers of the Lantern corps as part of his endeavour to access Earth's Multiversal Nexus.
- Brainiac invaded the S.T.A.R. Labs Research Facility in Metropolis' Tomorrow District to alter various experimental devices and build his own "Power Battery" to harness the power source behind the Lantern Corps' Power Rings. This throws the rings of Green Lantern Corps and the Sinestro Corps into chaos. Initially thinking that the other corps are to blame, and tracking the source of the disruption to Earth, the Green Lantern and Sinestro Corps join in a fragile truce to invade the research facility and destroy the Power Battery; freeing Parallax in the process.
