General Strategy

  • Lex Luthor is surprisingly easy to defeat, even in the final mission. He uses weak melee attacks and an array of special attacks, most of which are less than deadly. When orange sparks appears around his hands, he is about of use a stun attack which deals negligible damage. Green sparks means he is going to do a green knock-back shock wave dealing a bit of damage. Red sparks at his feet means he is going to use a kick attack with a large knock back. When a few blue rectangle holographs circle him, he is about to teleport, but he may do so without warning below 1/3 health. He may also generate a green sphere forcefield, which blocks most damage. Players could only wait this out. He seem to use a different set of special attacks when in the forcefield, with no skull icon warning. The deadliest of all attacks is a rocket barrage signified by Luthor shouting "Fool!" followed by maniacal laughter while he fires a narrow arc of rockets. While he doesn't always use this when he says that, getting out of the way is a very good idea. Each hit hits up to about 70, but he shoots four volleys of it and could certainly knock out a player in melee range. Dodge away from him before he starts shooting, and use block or any damage prevention method. Staying a safe distance away when he generates a forcefield helps - you aren't going to do much damage through it anyway.
  • Luthor's suit allows him to fly, but he seems to lose flight and shield-generating at 1/3 health. While the player is warned that his suit is "overloaded", this part is actually even easier for fliers as they could attack from above without taking any damage.
