- Spawn points surrounded by a black swirling energy circle are found at crossroads within the mission area. When a player approaches, shadow demons will begin to spawn at the outer edge of the circle and walk towards the central beam. If they reach it, they are absorbed, and if 3 shadow demons are absorbed, a large Shadow Demon Archon will form.
- Players can defeat the Archon directly, although this is far more difficult as the Archon hits as hard as Beast Taming bosses. An easier way is defeating approximately 10 adds without letting 3 touch the beam, which will cause the circle to disappear and count towards the mission.
- Archons always spawn directly (without the circle phase) around the bridges in the open world zone.
