Overview
- Striking Gorgon s are mythological creatures of Ancient Greece that have allied with the monster-god Typhon and joined his army to overthrow the Olympian Gods and conquer the mortal world.

- "Tail Whip" attack that can knock back the player.
- Gorgons can temporarily petrify the player.
Involvement
- In Typhon's Monster Invasion, players can receive a mission where they must find and close Typhon's Portals which are releasing Cyclops, Minotaurs, Satyrs, Cockatrices and Gorgons into Gotham City.
- In Typhon's Monster Invasion, players can receive a mission where they must locate and free citizens who have been petrified by Gorgons in the Gotham Docks and Cape Carmine districts.
- In Typhon's Monster Invasion, players can receive a mission where they must enter and clear out random monster nests of Cyclops, Minotaurs, Satyrs, Cockatrices or Gorgons around the Gotham Docks and Cape Carmine districts.

- Striking Gorgons wield the Short Bow style.
- The most famed Gorgons in Greek literature were the three Gorgon sisters Stheno (the Mighty), Euryale (the Far Springer), and Medusa (the Queen), who were born the daughters of the sea gods Phorcys and Ceto. While Stheno and Euryale were born as full snake women, Medusa had the appearance of a beautiful mortal woman. However, after being cursed by Athena to become a snake woman like her sisters, she was killed by the hero Perseus.
- The Gorgon race was said to have been produced by Gaia, the personification of the Earth, to aid the giants in their war against the gods during the Gigantomachy war.
- In some Greek myths, blood taken from the right side of a Gorgon could bring the dead back to life, yet blood taken from the left side was an instantly fatal poison.
