The Right One For The Job is a story blog released on May 2025 on the game's website.
It serves as part of the prelude to Fearful Day. The story continues in the chapter mission Battle for Mogo: Reinforce the Frontline.

Luzia Cavalera goes to The Atom for help in checking on her sister Esperanza. He contacts the Watchtower and Booster Gold informs him that Guy Gardner is the only Green Lantern on Earth at the moment.
Luzia finds Guy in Baltimore and they stop the Royal Flush Gang from robbing a bank; Guy cannot leave Earth but gives her directions to Mogo.

This story blog features interior artwork from The Atom #26 (1966) by Gil Kane, and Green Lantern Vol 7 #10 (2024) by Evan Shaner.
First mention of Royal Flush Gang, which has never appeared in the game.
The Atom mentions Ted Kord to Booster Gold but, according to the Watchtower Containment Facility briefings, the second Blue Beetle is dead - as the early game shares most of its continuity with the Pre-Flashpoint era, he was presumably killed by Maxwell Lord during the events leading to Infinite Crisis. In the comics, after the events of DCU: Rebirth (2016), his story was rewritten - he had now retired from the field due to cardiac issues. His new background was added to the game's lore as part of the developers initiative to make it more similar to current DC Comics continuity, but no explanation was given to his in-game resurrection.
