• The two heroes as well as the two villains fought in Weekly Bounty: Reign of Criminals form a quartet that matches the "successors" of Superman after his death during the comic storyline, with the exception of the Eradicator being replaced by Bizarro. This is possibly because Hank Henshaw, Superboy, and Steel are already characters within DC Universe Online and do not require a new model and coding for a new character.

• Bounties are missions which task players with defeating powerful heroes and villains. These missions are started in various Safe Houses and across the Multiverse from Wanted posters or quest givers.
