- Damaging Golden Exobyte is an artifact-level Exobyte which was distributed on occasion of the introduction of augments to compensate player characters for the lost stats caused by the removal of equipment mods.

- The Damaging Golden Exobyte can only be used to fortify augments which boost damage stats.
- It is advisable to only use one Golden Exobyte per Origin Augment since using two at tier 9 would hit the augment's current cap and waste valuable experience.
- Unlike normal exobytes, golden exobytes do not stack. As opening the cache would fill 8 inventory slots, it is recommended to open it only when you intend to use them.
