Frozen MogoWalkthrough
- Daring Rescue resembles Assault on Fear from Fearful Day, but easier. It can be started by interacting with a turret firing at a barrier at the Red Lantern Facility, in the southwest corner of Frozen Mogo, which would take down the barrier after a 1 minute countdown.
- The mission requires 6 progress, and you can secure terminals 1, 2, and 3 in order, giving 1, 2, and 3 progress respectively, adding up to 6 if you succeed the whole run, but it can be done in multiple runs if you fail partially. While the game does not label which is which, you are supposed to go clockwise; the entrance is in the northeast, terminal 1 is in the southwest, terminal 2 is in the southeast, and terminal 3 is in the northeast.
- A Green Lantern engineer would go to terminal 1 and begin to secure it signified by a green bar filling, which takes about 100 seconds. When it is completely filled, it is reset to be filled again, while another engineer would go to terminal 2 and start filling that green bar as well, and so on. Red Lanterns of increasing number and strength would spawn to attack them, but if the GLs fall, simply revive them - it is fast and cannot be interrupted by damage. Once all 3 terminals are secured, the refugees are freed and the scenario is a success.
- A red Lockdown bar fills quickly whenever at least 1 engineer are down. If it fills completely, the scenario fails instantly. Securing a terminal for the first time also resets it to empty. However, engineers at secure terminals can still be downed. Also, this appears to be currently bugged and the scenario fails at about 40% lockdown.
Trivia
- Upon release, this mission was bugged, before it was fixed on 30 January. The turrets were non-interactive and repeatedly displayed the error message "BlockedFX: GREEN_LANTE" (the message is cut off mid-letter) in pale yellow text. The status may vary depending on phase (which can be switched at the map). On the EU server for instance, at some point, phase 5 has the Red Lantern barrier up while being fired at by the turrets preventing entry into the facility, phase 4 has the barrier down but no NPCs, phase 6 has the barrier down and a few friendly NPC spawned, but none can be progressed properly.
