Overview
- The Dark Multiverse is a part of the Multiverse during the events in the Metal Part II episode.
History
- The Dark Knights and Barbatos, antagonists of Metal Part I and Metal Part II, hail from the Dark Multiverse. At the end of Metal Pt. I: Monsters of Metal, their plans come to fruition and cause Earth to begin sinking into the Dark Multiverse.
- In Metal Pt. II: The Phoenix Cannon, The Dark Knights seize control of the Phoenix Cannon and attempt to hasten Earth's sinking; however, the heroes and villains defeat them, and using the Key of Atlan (obtained in Metal Pt. II: Damage Control), Batman reconfigures the Cannon to open a portal into the Dark Multiverse to confront Barbatos.
