Trivia
- Kaznia is a stand-in for Yugoslavia.
- Kaznia was created by Paul Dini and Alan Burnett.
- Kaznia first appeared in the first season of Superman: The Animated Series in 1996, part of the DC Animated Universe, and also appeared in both the Justice League and Justice League Unlimited animated series, set in the same universe. It has since appeared in the Justice League Action animated series, in the Arrowverse (specifically in the shows Arrow, Supergirl, and Legends of Tomorrow), as well as in the comics.
- Oddly, Reanimated Civilians in Kaznia City, including those for Zatanna's and Deadman's missions (and not those in instances, or Reanimated Brutes), were immune to the damage of Orbital Strike Uplink Devices. This was later fixed.
- The Agitated Spirits in Kaznia are very similar to Vengeful Spirits in the base game, and they actually have the same Telekinesis-like ability to lift objects in combat; this is not apparent normally as there are no nearby objects on the map, but they can use it if the player encases nearby mobs, or otherwise create interactive objects (like dropping the Fire Boulder from the demon form obtainable in Kaznia City).
- The weekly Battle of the Damned grants demon and zombie form changes that are usable throughout Kaznia City. They have good attacks and a strong self-heal, making them decent for low-level players. However, they cannot be used to attack enemies of the same faction nor do they attack the player in that form (e.g. while in demon form, the player cannot attack or take damage from any demonic enemies in Kaznia City, including Neron). The only exception is that both forms have an ability that summons 2 minions of that faction, which are kept if you switch forms (e.g. if you summon 2 undead minions in zombie form, then switch to demon form, the undead minions can attack and damage undead enemies).
