Atlantean ShieldTrivia
- Aquaman and Mera were first introduced in DCUO in classic game, during Hearts of Darkness: Episode 4, and the little information provided about them by then was based on the New Earth continuity: Mera was native of Dimension Aqua, she and Aquaman got married and had a baby together who was killed by Black Manta and drove them apart; the couple reunited years later after the events of the original Blackest Night. Their story was rebooted Post-Flashpoint, and the Deluge episode was adapted from the storyline introduced as part of the DC Rebirth, a initiative that still respected their reboot: Mera and Arthur were yet to get married and had no children; Mera was princess of the Kingdom of Xebel and was sent to Aquaman by her father to kill Arthur before falling for him. This investigations collection conciliates both continuities while clarifying which changes made in the comics are valid in DCUO lore.
- This collection of investigations is named after the limited series Mera: Queen of Atlantis (2018) by Dan Abnett and Lan Medina.
