Walkthrough
- When you first get into the raid, you must first speak to Mera. She will tell you to enjoy the gala and then talk to her when you're ready. She will be on the balcony on the west side of the hall. After a conversation between her and Aquaman about the Starro attacks, a bomb explodes next to the balcony and Manta suddenly appears and swears revenge on Aquaman. You must defeat him.
Black Manta
- Periodically during the battle, he plants a dozen or so Black Manta Mines. They are always placed in a large circle in the middle of the area, regardless of where he is. You will be instructed to break a chain reaction that will be caused by them by interacting with at least one of them quickly. If you fail, the whole team will be KO'd instantly, regardless if you're a tank or if you have a shield on you. If you defuse at least some of them, you will take much less damage.
- After you defeat Black Manta, Corum Rath suddenly appears and states that the people of Atlantis demand change, and he is that change. He plans to destroy Spindrift Station, and you must stop him.
Pipe puzzle
- You must get through waves of enemies, and then come across a flooded room. Two of the players must drain the flooded room from both sides to continue.
- First, players must insert one oxygen tank in both sides before two players can go in. Each of them must solve a simple pipe puzzle - you will be given a number of pipe pieces, one by one, and you must carry it to the wall where the pipe is. Each piece you are given can only go to a fixed spot you will be directed to.
- Then, you must rotate the pre-existing pieces so they all connect into a single continuous pipe. Once complete, you need to interact with the the big wheel in the middle of the wall to finish up. During that time, your oxygen supply will drain. If it reaches zero, the entire team will be KO'd (it is possible for oxygen to hit zero right as the wheel finishes turning, which KO'es you but the puzzle is considered finished).
- Brine creatures will also appear in the flooded rooms and try to slow your progress, and being hit will cause additional oxygen drain. During this time, all abilities including pets and trinkets are disabled and replaced by a single ability that disables brine creatures at the cost of 10 oxygen. Braine creatures' attacks also deal regular damage and it is nearly impossible to restore health, with healers outside not being able to heal you either.
- Outside the flooded rooms, players must add more oxygen supply when needed. Mobs will also attack the oxygen supply which must be defended.
Morgwar
- After you drain the room, you must take on more waves of enemies, and then you will be at the end of the raid. Corum Rath summons the rogue water elemental, Morgwar. He then escapes and leaves Morgwar to deal with the players. You must defeat Morgwar to finish the raid.
- Periodically, Morgwar would flatten into a pool of water, immune to all damage. However, it will keep dragging players nearby towards it, damaging them.
- After you defeat Morgwar, Mera instructs you to leave Spindrift Station, as it is collapsing. She also states that she will go find Aquaman and right after that, Aquaman appears. He also tells you to leave, and the raid ends.

Flashback
- Relieve a past memory from under the sea.Head to the Spindrift Station Gala Event.
- This raid was featured as a Flashback instance only during the release of Children of Krypton, Chapter 1: Shadows Over Argo, listed under the name SoA Flashback: Spindrift Station. The original version remained available for all players.
- The difficulty of the instance was increased to match the other Tier 7 instances in the chapter, rewarding chapter-related items and currency. The Collectibles obtainable in the original raid can also be found in this one.
- Spindrift Station was chosen as a Flashback raid for Shadows Over Argo due to the presence of Aquaman, Mera, Ocean Master, and Black Manta in both contents, and it is located underwater like Sunken Argo City.

- The disastrous launch of the Spindrift Station is one of the reasons why Aquaman was later deposed by Corum Rath in Atlantis: Royal Palace.
- While sections of the station are sealed and completely filled with water to serve the more aquatic Atlanteans, the station also reserved "Dry Rooms" for meetings with surface visitors.
- While all instances in Deluge have the prefix "Starro", this raid is the only that does not directly involve Starros in any capacity.
