This subject has been replaced or otherwise rendered obsolete by various updates, downloadable content packages, or general system upgrades.
The Valentine's Day Event 2011 was a set of missions and items unique to the event. It occurred throughout the month of February of 2011 and was discontinued due to being infamous by many DC Universe players for being a ridiculous and "un DC like" event.
First released on February 22nd, 2011, the event showcases Valentine's Day in Metropolis and features Valentine's-themed items and unique missions and locations for the Player Character to explore.

Jealous over the attention Circe is receiving, the Olympian Goddess of Love, Aphrodite, has decided to hold her own event in Metropolis in the form of a competition between the forces of Scorn and Devotion.
New Heroes and New Villains are invited to enter Aphrodite's Realm near the Union Station in Metropolis to partake in the competition, the winner of which would decide which emotion would rule the human heart in the months to come.

Aphrodite's Temple: A seasonal Alert mission where four players are tasked with assisting either the Aspect of Devotion or the Aspect of Scorn in triumphing over the other.
Valentine's-themed Armour Style Sets: Valentine style set.

Once inside, heroes will change into Cherubs and villains will change into Imps.
Powers
Grapple Line Attack - pulls the target towards you, damaging it
Ground Slam - deals damage in a small AoE
Heal - heals the player to full
Consume Heart - consumes purple floating hearts, restoring 25% Supercharge
Special Attack - damages, stuns and knockbacks all enemies around the target, 25% Supercharge cost
Skills
Basic Acrobatics movement with increased jump height and speed
Bow with all melee combos

A special flight multiplayer race. It is unlocked by first completing the 3 daily missions. Participants can collect dark red Scorn hearts to knock back their competition or pink Devotion hearts for a temporary speed boost. Earning Platinum will reward the player with the Rose emblem style.
Winning a multiplayer race against other opponents earns extra Aphrodite's Tokens.
