Amazonium Deflection is an Iconic Ability based on Wonder Woman and Wonder Girl.

Deflect incoming attacks, protecting yourself from damage. Some damage will be directed back at you attackers, with a chance to stun them.

Despite the description, the damage Amazonium Deflection deals and the stun are separate and it is possible to stun an opponent without damaging them. The damage is also not based on the incoming damage, but your own stats.
Amazonium Deflection lasts several seconds and can be cancelled early by moving or attacking. As a form of block, Amazonium Deflection is vulnerable to block breaking. Being hit by one would prematurely end Amazonium Deflection and remove the Shield as well.

Amazonium is an alloy that can only be found on Themyscira. It is used in combination with other alloys to create extremely strong and lightweight armor; such as Amazonian Gauntlets.
Amazonium Deflection is based off of Wonder Woman's usage of the Bracelets of Submission, a set of gauntlets forged out of the remains of the Zeus's Aegis shield. Wonder Woman's reflexes are so fast that she is able to easily deflect bullets with ease.
