Overview
- The Black Eulogy is a collection of investigations that can be found scattered across the Atlantis open world and within the Atlantis: The Throne Raid. There are 7 parts that comprise this set.
Synopsis
- A set of logs from the Sea-Devil himself, detailing events between the attack on Spindrift Station and the Rise of King Rath.
Part 1: Damnation
- Zone: Atlantis
- Location: Go over the bridge above King Shark. Follow the bridge to the North and cross the first arch until you see a path on the ground below. Follow the path towards the West passing the two smaller bridges, then stop and look at your right. The node is on the ledge of the tower closest to you.
- Investigation: Black Manta: " The coward... He was not man enough to finish me. Instead he abandons me here to drown in the carcass of his failure, Spindrift Station, pinned to the floor by rubble, waiting for death to take me. If vengeance holds any weight to the gods of his infernal people... Grant me salvation to seek my revenge..."

- Zone: Atlantis
- Location: Go to the Northwest corner of the map and look for an Atlantis Statue - Victory on the roofs by the Courtyard with the Silent School Adepts (one of the areas for the Loss of Leadership mission). From the statue, follow the path heading south until you're next to a water dome. The node is southeast of the dome, on the floor.
- Investigation: Black Manta: " I am alive, but how I am unclear. A man named Rath claims to be my savior. He is one of them, but different, common. He has promised me that in exchange for my help in gaining the throne of Atlantis, the Aquaman's death would be at my hands."

- Zone: Atlantis
- Location: In the Eastern half of the map, look for a Atlantis Statue - Tribute on the roofs. Look down from that statue to the floor below, and find a broken statue holding a trident by one of the paths. The trident is pointing to a building with a yellow dome; he node is on the front of the small tower next to it.
- Investigation: Black Manta: " This Corum Rath is a resourceful confederate. His hatred for Arthur and all of the aristocracy of Atlantis is a powerful motivator. It almost rivals mine, but I sense he has other motives that drive him while I have a singular purpose."

- Zone: Atlantis
- Location: Follow the center bridge the North until you're standing in front of its last arch. Go to the massive tower to the East right next to the bridge and look down. The node is on the smaller bridge connecting the tower to the building with a water dome to the south.
- Investigation: Black Manta: " I have been the unseen hammer that drives the nails into Arthur's reign as King. Stirring up unrest with both Atlantis and his allies topside, have fed the fires of dissent and allowed Rath to use his silver-tongued, patriotic demagoguery to turn Arthur's people against him. Satisfying work, yet pales in comparison to what I will do to him."
Part 5: Fulfillment
- Zone: Atlantean Royal Palace
- Region: Atlantis Throne Room
- Instance: Atlantis: The Throne
- Location: In the second of the small rooms towards the Throne Room around the first left wall.
- Investigation: Black Manta: " Rath is finally in position to seize the throne. All is going according to our plan. Arthur will be denounced as King, Rath will take the throne, and I will be there to end his life. In twenty four hours, Atlantis will have a new king and Aquaman will be buried in a shallow grave under the sea floor."

- Investigation: Black Manta: " No! This cannot be! I am blocked from the palace by a quagmire of magical thorns, denying me Arthur's death! Rath swore he would be mine! Does this venomous snake dare to make an enemy of the Sea-Devil himself? Rath will answer for this. And if Arthur Curry is dead when I arrive, then Atlantis will need yet another King to sit on the throne."
