Biography
- Origin: The Phantom Zone
- "Kneel before Zod."
- A Kryptonian military extremist, his failed coup on Krypton earned him a sentence in the Phantom Zone. When all of Krypton was destroyed, his prison sentence was extended, nearly permanently.
- Only an accidentally reactivated Phantom Zone projector finally released him and his small army of loyal followers.
- Far from rehabilitating him, the time in isolation sharpened his extremism and focused his desire for revenge, especially against the House of El. Now empowered by a yellow sun, Dru-Zod and his followers are nigh unstoppable.
