Batman Day is a limited time event that runs in September on the occasion of Batman's anniversary

September 25, 2015 saw DCUO's first Batman Day take place just one year after DC Comics first began celebrating for Batman's 75th Anniversary in 2014. DCUO chose to honor Batman by making the Dark Knight Cowl Pack available for purchase in the Marketplace which contained the Dark Knight's Cowl and Dark Knight's Helm.

DCUO upped the celebration from a day to nearly a full week – from Thursday, September 15 through Wednesday, September 21, 2016 – and featured all Legends PvE events open for all players. The celebration also included an amazing 40% markdown in the Marketplace for all Batman-themed items and Legends Exobyte Data for all Legends PvE characters.

DCUO finally realized in 2017 that celebrations usually include gifts! Or maybe it was due to Harley Quinn taking over as she also celebrated her 25th Anniversary. Nevertheless, all players that logged in between September 22 and September 28, 2017 received the free 2017 Batman Day Box full of Batman and Harley themed goodies.

This year saw two Batman-themed chest styles available as free gifts for players that logged in between September 14 and September 30, 2018. The Batman Day - Painted Logo T-Shirt could be claimed by all players, while the Batman Day - Bat Swarm T-Shirt was only available to members. Each shirt could only be claimed once per account during this event. DCUO also hosted a sweepstakes where 25 participants could win a physical version of the Painted Logo T-shirt.

Two new Batman-themed chest styles were available as free gifts for players that logged in between September 13 and September 30, 2019. The Batman Day - 80 Years T-Shirt for all players, and the Batman Day - Bat Signal T-Shirt could be only claimed by members. Each shirt could be Style Unlocked for free onto additional characters from the Style Menu. Additionally, on Batman Day itself, September 21, players could log in to claim the Bat Signal Uplink Device (Orbital Strike)!

Riddle me this... What do a form, a cover pack, and an accessory have in common? Answer: They were the free gifts in 2020 to celebrate Batman Day! All players that logged in between September 18 and September 30, 2020 were granted the Form: Batwing Jet trinket and the Batman Day 2020 - Cover Pack, plus the E. Nygmatic Accessory could additionally be claimed by members.

Batman's actual debut anniversary is March 30, 1939, the date Detective Comics #27 was published. However, DC Comics decided to hold the official celebratory holiday known as Batman Day annually on the third Saturday of September (falling on September 19 in 2026).
The first Batman Day was July 23, 2014. It was a date selected by DC Comics and Warner Bros. to celebrate Batman's 75th anniversary and coincide with San Diego Comic-Con 2014.
