Overview
- Springtime is a spring-themed seasonal event that occurs in the months of April and/or May.
- The event showcases Spring throughout Gotham City and features Spring-themed items and unique missions and locations for the Player Character to explore. Players complete missions to earn event currency tokens Seed Pods to spend on rewards at the seasonal event vendors.
- The introductory mission for heroes as well as villains is Poisonous Desire.
Spring 2011-2012
- The 2011 event did not have playable event content. In 2022, the following Story driven content was released:
- Heroes must stop Poison Ivy's plants from taking over Gotham while Villains try to help her. Ivy intends to tap into The Green in order to spread her "babies" across the planet.
Content
- : A special springtime vendor kiosk filled with Spring-themed items, trinkets and Costume Style pieces.
- Spring-themed Armour Style Sets: Obtainable partly as loot drop and from the seasonal vendors is the Warrior of Spring style set.
Story
- " This is Oracle. *sneezes, delicate blow* Excuse me. Allergies. Spring is in the air, and if you're seeing more pollen than usual, it's because Poison Ivy is spreading spores across Gotham. It's gotten bad enough that Swamp Thing is stepping in. Speak to him in the Watchtower." — Oracle
- " Calculator here. Spring is in the air and Poison Ivy is in the Hall of Doom looking for someone to mulch weeds or take over the world for the plants or something. She just got out of Arkham, you know. She might be a little unstable." — Calculator
- Heroes must again stop Poison Ivy's plants from taking over Gotham while Villains try to help her.
- Veronica Cale teams up with Poison Ivy to capture Swamp Thing to use as a test subject. Cale employs a group of New Villains to capture him, meanwhile, noticing Poison Ivy's minions milling around the sewers, Doctor Sarah Charles employs a group of New Heroes to investigate.

Trivia
- Starting in 2025, the vendors & taskmasters for the open world missions -- Poison Ivy and Swamp Thing -- are now also stationed in Gotham near Giordano Botanical Gardens.
- Since 2025, the taskmasters for the alert -- Sarah Charles and Veronica Cale -- are not found in Gotham at the event hub with Poison Ivy and Swamp Thing. They can still be found and engaged at the event hubs in House of Legends and in the Watchtower Aquacultural Area or Hall of Doom in The Pit (Hall of Doom).
- In 2025, event currency prices were discounted approximately 50% of the newly increased "full price" during the first week of the event, and raised to full for the remaining weeks of the event. Both prices are shown in the table above.
- 2025 also saw the first removal of a seasonal themed Vault instance. This would continue until the vault was eliminated from all the seasons until it returned in 2026 for Joker's Mayhem.
- In 2026, the more standard approach was adopted where event currency prices were discounted by approximately 25% of the "full price" during the first week of the event, before being raised to full price for the remainder of the event. The 25% discount continued into the second week of the event.
