2019Trivia
- The first appearance of this event Eat, Drink and be Scary in 2011, which featured only special items and a beginner-level instance with increased difficulty, was so badly received that SOE revised and restructured the entire event for its next release in 2012.
- The Witching Hour is also the name of an ongoing horror series starring a triad of witches known as The Hecatae. It was published by DC Comics, running from 1969 to 1978.
- Batwoman's original appearance in DC Universe Online was based off of her original appearance in 2006, however, as of the 2018 seasonal Halloween Event, Batwoman's look was updated to her 2009 "Post-Final Crisis" appearance. The update is possibly to celebrate the character's appearance in three crossover episodes of CW's The Flash, Arrow and Supergirl on December 9th to December 11th, 2018.
- Since 2021 the taskmasters and vendors for the event are also located in the House of Legends. Since 2024, they are also located in Gotham City, near Giordano Botanical Gardens.
- The Witching Hour Vault last appeared in game during the 2024 event.
- Since 2025, event currency prices were discounted approximately 25% of the new "full price" during the first week of the event, and raised to full for the remaining weeks of the event.
