Overview
- Tier can refer generally to content in a video game or more specifically to a special set of endgame armor available from that content level. Normally an endgame set of armor/weapons comes with increased stats as they increase in tier.
- In DCUO tier refers to the difficulty level of content and strength of equipment from episodes, as measured by combat rating. Once your experience level hits the cap of 30, the vast majority of the game is about raising your combat rating through the tiers by getting better equipment. As of 2026 there are 8 tiers in PvE.
- PvP armor has its own system ranging from tier 0 to Tier 5. All armors are available from PvP vendors for Marks of Valor.
