- HAZMAT Smith is located next to the ambulances at the processing area. Interact with him, and he'll ask you to test his hypothesis that the Chemoids' colors are somehow related to their behavior.
Defeat Chemoids
- You must defeat 2 Chemoids of each type: Shock (yellow), Cryo (blue), and Pyro (red). They are scattered across the main Ace Chemicals building and the back area at west. Once you're done, go back to Smith and interact with him, so he can tell you what to do next.
Inject a Green Chemling with Mixture
- Go back to the main Ace Chemicals building, and look for a green Chemling. It spawns anywhere above ground level. Defeat it then interact with it to inject the mixture.
Subdue Unstable Chemling
- As soon as you're injecting the mixture, the Chemling will turn into an Unstable Chemling, acting chaotically and very aggressively. Defeat it and - surprise! - it'll turn into a Friendly Chemling, proving HAZMAT Smith's hypothesis true. Mission complete!
